National Health Center Week August 7-13, 2022
For more than 30 years, community health centers across the nation have joined together for a week-long celebration of their work. National Health Center Week offers a way to share our unique model of care, increase awareness in the community and advocate for community health center funding and policies. These shared goals are met by offering a variety of activities and events during a designated week in August each year. For 2022, that week is upon us, August 7-13th.
In the past, each year has been assigned a theme. This year is no different, 2022 is branded “Community Health Centers – The Chemistry for Strong Communities.” The science is clear at FamilyCare; we strive to strengthen our communities through the care we provide.
Over the past year, our services have provided hundreds of thousands of dollars of care to our community members most in need. We are proud to celebrate the 32,000+ patients who consider FamilyCare their healthcare home.
FamilyCare associates play a significant role in our success. Each day they provide meaningful care and support to meet the needs of our patients directly. National Health Center Week offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on our successes and serves as an annual reminder of the importance of our work. In honor of National Health Center Week, take some time to reflect on how community health centers care for your community.
