Celebrate 35 Years of Caring with Our 1989 Campaign

2024 has been a year full of success and growth as we mark a historic milestone: our 35th anniversary. It’s a moment of which we’re deeply proud, and one that we’ve celebrated in several different ways. A few weeks ago, we held our 35th Anniversary Gala at Berry Hills Country Club in Charleston. We danced to a great mix of songs spun by DJEJ. We ate some delicious food. And of course, everyone looked stunning.

But as much as we love to party, galas aren’t the only way we’re celebrating our birthday. Earlier this year, we launched the FamilyCare Foundation, an initiative poised to revolutionize the health care landscape in our area. By funding essential projects and supporting FamilyCare’s mission, the Foundation will lay the groundwork for a future where high-quality, compassionate care is accessible to every member of our community.

As FamilyCare celebrates our 35-year legacy, the Foundation’s 1989 Campaign invites you to celebrate with us. By contributing just $19.89 monthly to the Foundation, you’ll directly support the expansion of essential services and programs aimed at providing quality health care for all.

Although we got our start in 1989 as a provider of women’s health services, FamilyCare has grown substantially over the past 35 years. We opened 21 brick-and-mortar locations and five mobile health units that serve more than 41,000 people across the Kanawha Valley. We expanded our services, adding behavioral health care, substance use disorder treatment, dental services, and health education. And with each passing year, the number of West Virginians we’re able to help grows. During 2023, the number of patients we served increased by more than 17 percent—in a single year!

We’re excited to continue propelling FamilyCare into a future where every member of our community can overcome barriers to health.

You can donate here to help improve today’s care and lead the way for tomorrow.
