FamilyCare is searching for a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife for the Charleston, WV area. Responsible for the provision of nurse-midwifery care, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonatal and gynecologic care. Must be available to respond in person to Women & Children's Hospital and/or FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center in Charleston, WV within 30 minutes of receiving a call.
Qualifications: Certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives, the ACNM Certification Council, or a successor organization, American Midwifery Certification Board; possess a license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to practice nurse-midwifery in the State of West Virginia. Maintain current RN license for the state of West Virginia. Acquire and maintain privileges as an independent allied health professional at Charleston Area Medical Center. If eligible, maintain prescriptive authority through the WV Board of Nurses.

FamilyCare Health Centers is searching for a full-time OB/GYN physician for the greater Charleston area. Candidates will need a valid license to practice medicine in West Virginia, with a current DEA license certificate. Candidates also need to be Board certified or Board eligible.

FamilyCare is searching for a Vice President of Quality and Safety. This is an exempt, full-time position that will report to the President and Chief Executive Officer. The vice president, quality and safety (VPQS) contributes to FamilyCare’s mission and vision through executive leadership of the quality, safety, and clinical performance improvement activities for the practices in each division. The VPQS work in conjunction with other leaders to improve clinical outcome and maintain safety standards. The VPQS ensures compliance with applicable accreditation, regulatory, and licensure standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited four-year nursing program (BSN); Master’s degree preferred; minimum of five years of related clinical and management experience involving quality management, quality improvement, and safety in an ambulatory setting with at least one year in the capacity as the direct leader of other professional-level associates; hold and maintain throughout employment an active, unencumbered license as Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia. The director is responsible for developing collaborative relationships with assigned health centers to serve as a liaison between executive leadership and regional leadership. The director will assume responsibility for analysis, monitoring, and improvement of performance in assigned health centers as measured by organizational performance indicators.
