FamilyCare Health Centers Holds Ribbon Cutting for New OB/GYN Office

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – FamilyCare Health Centers, a local healthcare provider committed to providing comprehensive care to the region, celebrated the opening of a new OB/GYN office on Wednesday, August 23. The new office, located next to CAMC Women and Children’s hospital, includes the addition of three OB/GYN specialists to the FamilyCare team – Dr. Naegele, MD, Dr. Thomas, MD, and Dr. Hunter, MD. 

The event included a ribbon cutting ceremony and remarks from CAMC and FamilyCare staff, followed by refreshments.

“Providing this office space for FamilyCare gives them the opportunity to care for even more patients in Charleston,” said Andrew Weber, Vice President and Administrator at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital. “FamilyCare’s approach to building meaningful and intentional relationships with their patients is exactly the kind of care we envision providing at all CAMC locations.”

The addition of this new location will allow for an increase in the number of OB/GYN patients that FamilyCare is able to serve.

FamilyCare President and CEO Craig Glover also spoke at the event. “Adding additional OB/GYN physicians to the FamilyCare team provides opportunities to care for more patients than,” Glover said. “Working from the only CABC-accredited birth center in the state, the OB/GYN team provides the highest quality care, reassuring our patients that they get personalized and dependable service.”
