FamilyCare Health Centers has notified their patients of unusual activity with a third party vendor. No data appears to be compromised.
On June 7, FamilyCare began sending letters to patients informing them that CaptureRx, a third party administrator that provides services to healthcare providers, noticed unusual activity in February of 2021. CaptureRx conducted an internal investigation that determined that FamilyCare’s system was not affected or impacted by the activity.
Furthermore, CaptureRx stated they are unaware of any actual or attempted misuse of patients’ information stemming from this incident.
FamilyCare patients are urged to report any unusual activity.
